I was Francisco’s direct manager, and the company owner of Great Lakes Solutions (GLS). Though with us for a relatively short period of time before moving to CA, Francisco was a valuable asset to GLS. He is smart, creative, hard-working, and meets challenges directly and with enthusiasm. He understands the value on his effort and contribution in a team environment, but is also motivated and capable when tasked with solo projects. Francisco demonstrated a commitment to the success of the company, team, and projects to which he was assigned. His final project with GLS was a re-branding effort, including logo, LinkedIn page, marketing and branding messages, and a new website. We gave him very little guidance or direction other than some squishy goals on what we wanted to achieve. He did an excellent job on the project, from inception through delivery and training. NOTE: GLS as a company has done a poor job keeping up with fresh LinkedIn page content, and has not launched the new website he built. Those are a result of poor execution on GLS, and in no way reflective of Francisco. Again, we were very happy with the independence of his project execution and the end-product delivery.
